Belvidere Headstone Dedication

The Sons of Union Veterans and Allied Orders will be dedicating three headstones as part of the Thayer County Historical Museum’s Fall Festival in Belvidere, Nebraska.

The headstone dedications are for Private Richard Fury (Furry), Co. H, 74th Indiana Infantry, Private William McKillip, Co. K, 85th Illinois Infantry and Corporal John W. Williams, Co. C, 48th Iowa Infantry who are buried in the Belvidere Rural Cemetery located on the east edge of town.
